R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tiffany Nivens graduated as the valedictorian of the |
|
|
senior class of Sanford-Fritch High School in Fritch on May 31, |
|
|
2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. |
|
|
Nivens demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to |
|
|
her studies are myriad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, she served |
|
|
as vice president of the senior class and was active in UIL |
|
|
competition throughout her high school career; her future plans |
|
|
include attending West Texas A&M University and pursuing an |
|
|
occupation in the medical field; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Nivens has earned the respect and admiration of |
|
|
her teachers and classmates at Sanford-Fritch High School, and her |
|
|
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to |
|
|
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this |
|
|
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Tiffany |
|
|
Nivens on being named valedictorian of the Sanford-Fritch High |
|
|
School Class of 2013 and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her |
|
|
life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Nivens as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
