R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jordan Molnar of Panhandle High School achieved an |
|
|
impressive success by taking part in the 2013 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet in the 1A Division 1 |
|
|
girls' long jump event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the top competitors in Texas at Mike |
|
|
A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10, Ms. Molnar turned in a notable |
|
|
performance; she recorded a distance of 17 feet, 4.5 inches, to earn |
|
|
fourth place and came very close to claiming a spot on the podium; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Jordan Molnar has ably |
|
|
represented her school, and she may cherish her memories of this |
|
|
notable accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jordan Molnar |
|
|
on her fourth-place finish in the 1A Division 1 girls' long jump |
|
|
competition at the UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Molnar as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
