R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Allissa Palmer of Stratford High School has achieved |
|
|
notable success in the 2012-2013 University Interscholastic League |
|
|
Academic State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in |
|
|
the Lone Star State, Ms. Palmer earned a bronze medal for her strong |
|
|
performance in the Lincoln-Douglas debate; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her hard work and commitment to excellence, |
|
|
Allissa Palmer has distinguished herself in statewide competition, |
|
|
and her accomplishments are a source of pride to her family and |
|
|
friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Allissa |
|
|
Palmer on earning the bronze medal in the Lincoln-Douglas debate at |
|
|
the 2012-2013 UIL Academic State Meet and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Palmer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
