R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family, friends, and fellow firefighters are
  mourning the untimely passing of Stanley Allen Wilson of Dallas
  Fire-Rescue, who died in the line of duty on May 20, 2013, at the age
  of 51; and
         WHEREAS, Stan Wilson was born in Dallas on August 18, 1961, to
  Jess and Nell Pressly Wilson; after graduating from Lake Highlands
  High School in 1979, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree in
  business administration from The University of Texas at Austin in
  1984; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan joined Dallas Fire-Rescue in
  1985 and served with courage and distinction for 28 years,
  achieving certification as a master firefighter; he spent two
  decades with the crew at Station 53, where he was second driver; and
         WHEREAS, Stan Wilson married Jenny Reeves in 1992, and the
  couple became the proud parents of two sons, Noah and Luke;
  Mr. Wilson put his family at the center of his life, and he took
  deep satisfaction in his roles as husband and father; he served as
  quartermaster of his sons' Boy Scout troop, and he was also active,
  together with his family, in Park Cities Baptist Church; and
         WHEREAS, Stan Wilson lived a rich and purposeful life,
  dedicating himself without reserve to his family, his faith, and
  his community, and his unfailing example of valor and selflessness
  will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Stanley Allen Wilson and extend sincere condolences to the members
  of his family: to his wife, Jenny Wilson; to his sons, Noah and Luke
  Wilson; to his mother, Nell Pressly Wilson; to his sister, Teri
  Martin, and her husband, Dean; to his brother, Ken Wilson, and his
  wife, Kristi; to his nieces and nephews, Brittany and Tyler Wilson
  and Cyndi and Jacob Martin; and to his other relatives and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Stanley
  Allen Wilson.
