R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Beth and D'Nard Arthur of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, D'Nard D. Arthur and the former Beth Payne exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony in Lubbock in 1963, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children, D'Nard Arthur II and his |
|
|
wife, Jen, Deidre Parish and her husband, Bud, and D'lynn Dunn and |
|
|
her husband, Adam, as well as their seven grandchildren, with whom |
|
|
they treasure sharing many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Beth and |
|
|
D'Nard Arthur on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to |
|
|
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
