R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Milton Pax has ably guided the Dumas Noon Lions Club
  in his position as boss lion, and his efforts have benefited his
  fellow members as well as the greater community; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the group a decade ago, Mr. Pax has
  exemplified the Lions motto, "We Serve"; he has helped to lead the
  club as first, second, and third vice president, and during his
  tenure as president, he has instituted a number of important
  initiatives that have made Moore County an even better place to
  live; and
         WHEREAS, Among his many achievements, Mr. Pax has overseen
  programs to replace trees in McDade Park, deliver barbecue to
  senior citizens, and assist struggling families during the
  holidays; in addition, he has worked to retain and increase
  membership in the organization while also establishing new clubs at
  Valero and the local branch of Amarillo College; and
         WHEREAS, Milton Pax has demonstrated exceptional dedication
  in his leadership of the Dumas Noon Lions Club, and he may reflect
  with pride on his notable record of service; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Milton Pax for his
  work with the Dumas Noon Lions Club and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Pax as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
