R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Danielle Bradbery of Cypress has earned great
  distinction for herself and her hometown by winning season four of
  the television singing competition The Voice; and
         WHEREAS, This gifted 16-year-old Texan is the youngest
  contestant and the first country singer ever to take top honors on
  the show, impressing the celebrity judges and countless viewers
  with her heartfelt renditions of such country music classics as
  Taylor Swift's "Mean," Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel,"
  and Pam Tillis's "Maybe It Was Memphis"; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Danny Keith Bradbery and Gloria Ann
  Martinez and a student at Cypress Ranch High School, Ms. Bradbery is
  already a sensation online; her rendition of "Heads Carolina, Tails
  California" was the first song of the season to make the top 10 on
  iTunes, and she ended the season with more singles in the iTunes top
  10 than any of the other contestants; and
         WHEREAS, Danielle Bradbery has won the hearts of America with
  her warmth, poise, and soaring voice, and she may indeed reflect
  with pride on her victory as she embarks on what promises to be a
  stellar career in country music; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Danielle
  Bradbery on winning season four of The Voice and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bradbery as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
