Amend HB 2 (Senate committee printing) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION and renumbering the existing SECTIONs accordingly:

Section __. The provisions of this Act do not take effect unless the state of Texas expands its Medicaid program to all individuals who apply and are eligible under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Pub. L. No. 111-148), as amended by the Health Care Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-152), or a successor law.
