R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Chasity Danielle Coquat has been named salutatorian |
|
|
of the Class of 2013 at Three Rivers High School, and for achieving |
|
|
this significant honor, she indeed merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, |
|
|
Ms. Coquat demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to |
|
|
her studies are myriad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Ms. Coquat |
|
|
has contributed her time and energy to such NHS activities as canned |
|
|
food drives and the Blue Santa/Angels run; she has been accepted at |
|
|
Howard Payne University and hopes to go to law school after |
|
|
obtaining her bachelor's degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dani Coquat has earned the respect and admiration of |
|
|
her teachers and classmates at Three Rivers High School, and her |
|
|
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to |
|
|
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this |
|
|
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Chasity |
|
|
Danielle Coquat, salutatorian of the Three Rivers High School Class |
|
|
of 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Coquat as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
