R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State became home to a new citizen with |
|
the birth of Jackson William Peavey on June 10, 2013; and |
|
WHEREAS, The first child of Carolyn Marie Komosinski Peavey |
|
and Christopher John Peavey of Kingwood, this precious infant |
|
weighed in at 5 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length |
|
when he was born at 12:02 p.m. on his father's birthday at |
|
Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston; Jackson has since |
|
been warmly welcomed by a family circle that includes delighted |
|
first-time grandparents Richard and Robin Komosinski and Johnny and |
|
Nanette Peavey and godparents Emily Wiper and Derek De Rossett; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Ms. Peavey graduated from Kingwood High |
|
School in the Class of 2001 and were married on May 31, 2008; |
|
Mr. Peavey earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Lake |
|
Superior State University and is employed by Baker Hughes as a |
|
technical support engineer; Ms. Peavey graduated from the |
|
University of Mississippi with a doctor of pharmacy degree and is a |
|
Walgreens pharmacy manager; avid golfers, the couple both enjoy |
|
hitting the links in their free time; they also contribute to their |
|
community, volunteering with the Houston Food Bank and the Houston |
|
Metro Go Texan Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, The long-awaited arrival of a baby is one of life's |
|
most joyful occasions, and it is truly a pleasure to commemorate the |
|
birth of this beloved Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Carolyn and |
|
Christopher Peavey on the birth of their son and extend to Jackson |
|
William Peavey warmest best wishes for a bright and promising |
|
future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
