R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Francelli Villanueva has been named salutatorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2013 at Hebbronville High School, and for achieving |
|
|
this significant honor, she indeed merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, |
|
|
Ms. Villanueva demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide |
|
|
range of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has |
|
|
devoted to her studies are myriad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Villanueva has |
|
|
generously volunteered her time and talents to her church and to |
|
|
Relay For Life, and she has also assisted with the local Vaquero and |
|
|
Christmas festivals; she will attend Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Kingsville and plans to study veterinary medicine; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Francelli |
|
|
Villanueva has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers |
|
|
and classmates at Hebbronville High School, and her exceptional |
|
|
scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have |
|
|
opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young |
|
|
Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Francelli |
|
|
Villanueva, salutatorian of the Hebbronville High School Class of |
|
|
2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as |
|
|
she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Villanueva as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
