R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Dolores
  Gonzales of Austin, who died on July 5, 2013, at the age of 83; and
         WHEREAS, Dolores Gonzales was born in Austin on March 6,
  1930; she was joined in matrimony to Cruz Gonzales, and they shared
  a loving relationship until his death; she was the mother of 5
  children, and later in life she was blessed with 13 grandchildren
  and 22 great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzales worked for the City of Austin for 20
  years until her retirement; she took pleasure in sewing, gardening,
  and arts and crafts, and she also enjoyed traveling; and
         WHEREAS, A devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and
  a true friend, Dolores Gonzales lived a caring and purposeful life,
  and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who
  held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Dolores Gonzales and extend sincere condolences to the members of
  her family: to her daughter, Virginia Hill, and her husband, Cleo;
  to her sons, Manuel Rodela and his wife, Alice, Robert Rodela and
  his wife, Felipa, and Charles Rodela and his wife, Yolanda; to her
  13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and to her other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dolores
  Gonzales.
