R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Tres Gilbert Guerra has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2013 at Hebbronville High School, and for achieving |
|
|
this significant honor, he indeed merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, |
|
|
Mr. Guerra demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours he has devoted to |
|
|
his studies are myriad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to attending to his class work, |
|
|
Mr. Guerra has shared his time and energy with such worthy |
|
|
endeavors as a blood drive and Relay for Life; he plans to attend |
|
|
The University of Texas at San Antonio, with the long-term goal of a |
|
|
career in engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tres Guerra has earned the respect and admiration of |
|
|
his teachers and classmates at Hebbronville High School, and his |
|
|
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to |
|
|
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this |
|
|
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Tres Gilbert |
|
|
Guerra, valedictorian of the Hebbronville High School Class of |
|
|
2013, and that he be extended sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Guerra as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
