R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may
  temper the profound sadness that the July 8, 2013, death of Billy Ed
  Wilson of Belton brought to all who knew and loved him; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Davilla on August 26, 1921, Mr. Wilson
  worked as a mechanic at Fort Hood before opening his own auto repair
  garage; he subsequently operated B. E. Wilson Construction for
  nearly half a century, and he was also employed with the City of
  Belton for a decade; known for his strong work ethic, this esteemed
  Texan finally retired at the age of 88; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson shared a rewarding marriage with his
  wife, Joyce, until her passing in 2010 and took pride in his
  children, Eddie, Pat, Tammy, and Ricci, and his family that grew to
  include three more generations; he worshipped at Miller Heights
  Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting for many years; and
         WHEREAS, Billy Ed Wilson treasured the time he spent in the
  company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will
  in turn cherish their memories of their time spent with him; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Billy Ed Wilson and extend sincere condolences to the members of
  his family: to his son, Eddie D. Wilson and his wife, Jeanne; to his
  daughters, Pat McEver, Tammy Wilson Ricketts and her husband,
  Johnnie, and Ricci Wilson Douglas; to his sister, Johnnie Ruth
  Bartz; to his stepsons, Byron Maudlin and Bob Maudlin;
  to his 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2
  great-great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Billy Ed
  Wilson.
