R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Officer Ron White is retiring from the North |
|
|
Richland Hills Police Department on July 26, 2013, drawing to a |
|
|
close a notable career in law enforcement that has spanned 29 years; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of North Texas, Officer |
|
|
White joined the department in June 1984; throughout his tenure, he |
|
|
has distinguished himself as a member of the Uniformed Services |
|
|
Division Patrol Section, serving in a supervisory role from 1987 to |
|
|
2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Officer White is licensed as a permanent peace |
|
|
officer and a master peace officer, and he has compiled more than |
|
|
2,000 hours of service training; his exemplary performance has been |
|
|
recognized with 18 commendations, and he is a recipient of the |
|
|
15-Year Safe Driving Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ron White's dedication, professionalism, and |
|
|
commitment to preserving the safety and well-being of the public |
|
|
have greatly benefited the citizens of North Richland Hills and |
|
|
earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, and he may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on his many achievements; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Officer Ron |
|
|
White on his retirement from the North Richland Hills Police |
|
|
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer White as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
