R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Dilip K. Pal of Lubbock is retiring in August |
|
|
2013, drawing to a close a notable 37-year career in orthopedic |
|
|
surgery; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Patna Medical College and the |
|
|
University of Calcutta, Dr. Pal interned at Highland Park General |
|
|
Hospital and went on to complete his residency at Akron City |
|
|
Hospital in Ohio; in 1976, this board-certified surgeon settled in |
|
|
Lubbock, where he has provided an exceptional level of care and |
|
|
commitment to patients from across his West Texas community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In retirement, Dr. Pal looks forward to spending |
|
|
more time with his beloved wife and daughter, who have been a |
|
|
tremendous source of support through the decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Dilip Pal has benefited countless people during |
|
|
his medical career, and he may reflect with pride on his many |
|
|
accomplishments as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby honor Dr. Dilip K. Pal on |
|
|
the occasion of his retirement and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Pal as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
