Amend CSHB 148 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 2, lines 13 and 14, between "and" and "that assistance", insert "the person was not provided compensation for that act and that act was not done with the intent to effect the outcome of the election or as an instance of electioneering or".
(2) On page 4, lines 13 and 14, between "and" and "that assistance", insert "the person was not provided compensation for that act and that act was not done with the intent to effect the outcome of the election or as an instance of electioneering or".
