Amend HB 489 (second reading engrossment) on third reading as follows:
(1) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in the first sentence of added Section 437.023(c), Health and Safety Code, strike "an animal" and substitute "a canine".
(2) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in the second sentence of added Section 437.023(c), Health and Safety Code, strike "An animal" and substitute "A canine".
(3) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 437.023(c)(6), Health and Safety Code, strike "person" and substitute "disabled veteran".
(4) In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 121.002(4)(G), Human Resources Code, between "disorder" and the underlined semicolon, insert ", if the person is a disabled veteran".
