Amend CSHB 866 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 20, strike "and".

(2)  Strike page 1, line 23 through page 2, line 2, and substituting the following:

[(4)]  social studies, in grade eight; and

(4) [(5)]  science, in grades five and eight[; and

[(6) any other subject and grade required by federal law].
