Amend HB 1355 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 1, lines 3-4, strike "granting a limited power of eminent domain;".
(2) On page 1, line 5, strike "and" and substitute "or".
(3) On page 3, strike lines 4-8, and substitute the following:
(1) Julie Lane;
(2) Jennifer Johnson;
(3) Heidi Parker;
(4) Mary Elizabeth Hix; and
(5) Mindy Montford.
(4) On page 5, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following:
(d) After September 1, 2023, the district, at the district's expense, shall repair and maintain any streets in the district.
(e) The district's repair and maintenance of a street under this section must comply with all applicable construction standards and regulations of Williamson County.
(5) On page 6, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following:
Sec. 8432.106. NO EMINENT DOMAIN POWER. The district may not exercise the power of eminent domain.
(6) On page 22, strike lines 3-11.
(7) On page 22, line 12, strike "SECTION 5" and substitute "SECTION 4".
