Amend Floor Amendment No. 2 by Smith to CSHB 1642 on page 2 of the amendment, after line 27, by adding the following:

(d)  Notwithstanding Section 5007.205(h), Special Districts Local Laws Code, as added by this Act, the person serving as chair on the effective date of this Act may not be reappointed as the chair after the sixth anniversary of the first date on which the person was appointed as chair.
