Amend CSHB 2197 (house committee printing) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTIONS to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
SECTION ____. Section 466.252, Government Code, is amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c) Any information included on a ticket as authorized under Subsection (b) or as required under Section 466.251(c) must be written in both English and Spanish.
SECTION ____. Section 466.252(c), Government Code, as added by this Act, applies only to a lottery game ticket that is initially offered on or after January 1, 2014.
