Amend CSSB 7 (house committee report) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to ARTICLE 6 of the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS in ARTICLE 6 of the bill accordingly:
SECTION 6.____. Section 32.053, Human Resources Code, is amended by adding Subsection (i) to read as follows:
(i) To the extent allowed by the General Appropriations Act, the Health and Human Services Commission may transfer general revenue funds appropriated to the commission for the medical assistance program to the Department of Aging and Disability Services to provide PACE services in PACE program service areas to recipients whose medical assistance benefits must be delivered through the STAR + PLUS Medicaid managed care program and whose personal incomes are at or below the level of income required to receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits under 42 U.S.C. Section 1381 et seq.
