Amend CSSB 227, in SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 116.004, Occupations Code (senate committee report page 2, lines 4-8), by striking the first sentence of the added section and substituting the following:
The Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy shall jointly adopt rules for physicians, and the Texas Optometry Board and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy shall jointly adopt rules for therapeutic optometrists, to govern the packaging, labeling, and dispensing of aesthetic pharmaceuticals under this chapter.
