Amend CSSB 247 (Senate committee report) as follows:

(1)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in the recital (page 3, line 13), between "(a-8)," and "and (l)", insert "(a-9),".

(2)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in added Section 32.06(a-8), Tax Code (page 4, lines 24-25), strike "if the real property has been financed" and substitute "if the real property:

(1)  has been financed".

(3)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in added Section 32.06(a-8), Tax Code (page 4, line 27), strike "of the grant or loan." and substitute "of the grant or loan; or

(2)  is encumbered by a lien recorded under Subchapter A, Chapter 214, Local Government Code."

(4)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in added Section 32.06(a-8), Tax Code (page 4, line 28), before "The Finance", insert "(a-9)".

(5)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in added Section 32.06(a-8), Tax Code (page 4, lines 28-29), strike "this subsection." and insert "Subsection (a-8)."
