Amend SB 1705 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 6, between "by" and "adding" insert "amending Subsection (c) and".
(2) On page 1, between lines 6 and 7, insert:
(c) Except as provided by Subsection (d), in issuing a driver's license or a resident driver's permit authorized by law for certain types of vehicles, the director may waive a driving test for an applicant who has successfully completed and passed the training and testing conducted by a person certified under Subsection (a).
