H.B. 1895

By: King, Phil

Natural Resources

Committee Report (Unamended)

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

Legislation was enacted more than a decade ago that created the Parker County Utility District No. 1. Interested parties note that, because the district has been inactive for several years and has not fulfilled the purpose of its creation, the district board of directors unanimously voted to dissolve the district.  H.B. 1895 seeks to statutorily dissolve the district.

RULEMAKING AUTHORITY

It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution.
