A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the preparation of certain election forms. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 87.122, Election Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: |
|
|
(e) For each election precinct in the territory served by |
|
|
the early voting clerk in a county with a population of more than |
|
|
one million, the clerk shall prepare and print any signature |
|
|
roster, poll list, or combination form required under Chapter 63 |
|
|
and include on each, as appropriate, a statement printed next to the |
|
|
name of each person from the list prepared under Subsection (a) that |
|
|
clearly indicates the person has voted an early voting ballot by |
|
|
personal appearance or has been sent an early voting ballot to be |
|
|
voted by mail. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
