AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the exemption of registered dental laboratories from |
|
|
certain distributing and manufacturing licensing requirements. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 431.273, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(a-1) A person is exempt from licensing under this |
|
|
subchapter if the person holds a registration certificate issued |
|
|
under Chapter 266, Occupations Code, and engages only in conduct |
|
|
within the scope of that registration. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
