A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to authorizing a change in the fee for a hunter education |
|
|
course. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 62.014, Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (i-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(i-1) An instructor who is not an employee of the department |
|
|
shall charge an amount for the course that includes an |
|
|
administrative fee set by the commission in an amount not to exceed |
|
|
$15 that must be paid to the department and deposited to the credit |
|
|
of the game, fish, and water safety account. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Section 62.014(e), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|
|
repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
