A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the authority of the commissioner of agriculture to |
|
|
approve the testing and sale of certain aviation gasoline. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Chapter 17, Agriculture Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subchapter E to read as follows: |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER E. AVAILABILITY OF CERTAIN AVIATION GASOLINE |
|
|
Sec. 17.201. APPROVAL OF SUBSTITUTE AVIATION GASOLINE. If |
|
|
the sale of 100 octane low lead aviation gasoline is not allowed in |
|
|
this state, the commissioner by rule shall provide for the testing |
|
|
and sale in this state of 95 octane aviation gasoline without added |
|
|
alcohol. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
