A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the sale of soil products by a political subdivision. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter N, Chapter 361, Health and Safety |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Section 361.4281 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 361.4281. SALE OF COMPOST, MULCH, AND SOIL PRODUCTS |
|
|
OUTSIDE BOUNDARIES OF POLITICAL SUBDIVISION. A municipality, |
|
|
county, or other political subdivision may not sell for use outside |
|
|
the boundaries of the political subdivision compost, mulch, or |
|
|
other soil products. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
