| relating to examining records of municipal management districts. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 375.0961 is added to the Local | ||
| Government Code as follows: | ||
| Sec. 375.0961. EXAMINATION OF RECORDS. Within 14 days of a | ||
| written request, the district shall make available for | ||
| investigation, during business hours, the district's relevant | ||
| books, records of account, and minutes. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
