R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Joe and Geraldine Tarbet of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary on December 18, 2012, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joe Tarbet and the former "Jerry" Hogg exchanged the |
|
|
vows of matrimony in a ceremony held in Lamesa in 1952, and over the |
|
|
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Tarbet count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two children, Darla Blasingame and |
|
|
Treva Brensing, as well as seven grandchildren and eight |
|
|
great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing many special |
|
|
occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Joe and Jerry Tarbet have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Joe and Geraldine Tarbet on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Tarbet as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
