R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Murray and Jean McNeely of Lubbock celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on December 16, 2012; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Murray McNeely and the former Jean Forrest exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony in Lubbock on that memorable day in 1962, and |
|
|
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|
|
devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McNeely count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes five children, David McNeely and his |
|
|
wife, Tracey, Kevin McNeely and his wife, Tonya, Russell McNeely, |
|
|
Jennifer Hise and her husband, Tom, and Christina Truitt and her |
|
|
husband, Chris, as well as nine grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Murray and |
|
|
Jean McNeely can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Murray and Jean McNeely on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. McNeely as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
