R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned six |
|
|
decades, Bob and Mary Hamilton of Lubbock celebrated their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on January 4, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob Hamilton and the former Mary Wanda Whitney |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at the First Baptist Church in |
|
|
Brownfield on that memorable day in 1953, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life |
|
|
partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes three children, Debbie Bean and her |
|
|
husband, Kenneth, Brad Hamilton, and Brent Hamilton and his wife, |
|
|
Leslie, as well as six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, |
|
|
with whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past six decades, Bob and Mary |
|
|
Hamilton can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know |
|
|
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many |
|
|
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Mary Hamilton on their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
