R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob and Betty Wideman of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary on November 7, 2012, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob Wideman and the former Betty Switzer exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony in Cone in 1952, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wideman count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their 3 children, Kenny, Ray Don, and |
|
|
Belva, as well as 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, with |
|
|
whom they treasure sharing many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Bob and Betty Wideman have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Betty Wideman on their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wideman as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
