R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
|
of Emanuel Chilelli of Irving who passed away on December 19, 2012, |
|
|
at the age of 98; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Chicago, Emanuel "Dodge" Chilelli was |
|
|
born on June 14, 1914; he worked as a stationary engineer with |
|
|
Wisconsin Steel for 33 years before his retirement in 1973; he and |
|
|
his wife, Marie, then moved to Irving, where they lived for nearly |
|
|
four decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Chilelli was a fourth degree member of the |
|
|
Knights of Columbus and served as a Grand Knight of Irving Council |
|
|
No. 5243; having witnessed a panorama of change during a historic |
|
|
century, he was a treasured source of wisdom and inspiration for his |
|
|
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Emanuel Chilelli enjoyed a life that was rich in the |
|
|
intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
|
|
who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Emanuel Chilelli |
|
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|
|
wife, Marie Chilelli; to his daughter, Janet Osburn, and her |
|
|
husband, Tom; to his grandchildren, Kristin Beth and her husband, |
|
|
Michael, and Kerry Osburn and his wife, Stephanie; to his |
|
|
great-grandchildren, Nathan Osburn, Dalaney Beth, and Ethan Beth; |
|
|
and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Emanuel |
|
|
Chilelli. |
