R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Larry and Sue Hendricks of Lubbock |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 13, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Larry Hendricks and the former Sue Jackson were |
|
|
united in matrimony at a ceremony held in Clovis, New Mexico, in |
|
|
1963; over the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that |
|
|
has been made even richer with the addition of two daughters, Judy |
|
|
Hendricks-Benitez and Beth Hendricks, as well as one grandchild; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the |
|
|
world during the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife |
|
|
have remained constant in their commitment to each other, and the |
|
|
strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges |
|
|
and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry and Sue Hendricks on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
