R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
  mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Ed and Beverly Moses of
  Midland celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on
  December 27, 2012; and
         WHEREAS, Ed Moses and the former Beverly Webber were joined
  in matrimony in 1952 at a ceremony held in Odessa, where they both
  graduated from high school; through the years, they have been
  blessed with a treasured family that includes three sons, Jeff,
  Steve, and Mike, as well as five grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew,
  Caroline, Riley, and Miranda; and
         WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and Mrs.
  Moses are valued congregants of St. Luke's United Methodist Church;
  a graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Moses was a member of the
  Corps of Cadets, and he served as an officer in the U.S. Army before
  embarking on a notable career in business that spanned more than
  half a century; Mrs. Moses earned a degree from The University of
  Texas at Austin and belonged to Delta Gamma Sorority; today, she
  remains active in many civic endeavors, and she and her husband also
  take pleasure in spending time with their loved ones, reading, and
  traveling; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moses have enjoyed six decades of
  abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
  exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
  commitment; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ed and Beverly Moses on their 60th
  wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Moses as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
