R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of Charles Emmett Teutsch of Lufkin, who passed away on January 6,
  2012, at the age of 72; and
         WHEREAS, Born on December 13, 1939, in Huntington to Vita Mae
  Teutsch and Robert James Teutsch, Sr., Charles Teutsch lived most
  of his life in Lufkin; he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State
  University and was employed as an engineer with Lufkin Industries
  for 36 years until retiring; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Teutsch was a member of the First United
  Methodist Church of Lufkin; he loved to spend his free time at the
  Renfro Hunting Club or at Sam Rayburn Lake, and he was a passionate
  fan of The University of Texas Longhorns; a skilled artist, he took
  great enjoyment in drawing and painting, and he was also widely
  known for his ability to make or fix almost anything; and
         WHEREAS, Above all, Mr. Teutsch treasured his family; he
  shared nearly half a century of marriage with his wife, Sara Beth,
  and he took great pride in their three children, Shannon, Clint, and
  Stuart, their five grandchildren, and a great-grandson; and
         WHEREAS, Charles Teutsch was a quiet and caring man whose
  sense of humor and diverse talents brought joy to others, and he
  will be fondly remembered and deeply missed; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Charles Emmett
  Teutsch and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to
  his wife, Sara Beth Teutsch; to his daughter, Shannon Anderson, and
  her husband, Randy; to his sons, Clint Teutsch and his wife, Cherri,
  and Stuart Teutsch and his wife, Krista; to his grandchildren,
  Clayton Beers, Carianne Smith and her husband, Zack, Calianne
  Teutsch, Carolanne Teutsch, and Korbin Teutsch; to his
  great-grandson, Caleb Smith; to his sister, Jo Ann Waak, and her
  husband, John; to his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and
  Nancy Moore; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Charles
  Teutsch.
