R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Jimmy
  Adair of Sinton, who died on January 27, 2013, at the age of 82; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Adair was born on August 26, 1930, in Hunt
  County; he began working in the pipeline business in 1957, and
  within seven years he had founded his own enterprise, the Tennessee
  Pipeline Construction Company; and
         WHEREAS, This dedicated entrepreneur was admired for his
  common sense and his problem-solving skills, and his effective
  leadership was a source of inspiration for his employees; and
         WHEREAS, He and his wife, Dottie, were strong supporters of
  the San Patricio County Junior Livestock Show, and their desire to
  help those in need was reflected in the assistance they provided to
  the Haven of Hope homeless shelter in San Antonio; Mr. Adair drew
  strength from his religious faith and relished spending time with
  his family, and he also took great pleasure in his hobbies, which
  included golf, snow skiing, and boating; and
         WHEREAS, Although Jimmy Adair will be deeply missed, he
  leaves behind a legacy that will long be treasured by all those who
  were privileged to share in his love and friendship; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jimmy Adair and extend
  sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his wife of 24
  years, Dottie Adair; to his sons, Brad Adair and his wife, Judy,
  Matt Adair and his wife, Betty Sue, Preston Adair and his wife,
  Vicki, and Scott Magee and his wife, Jessica; to his grandchildren,
  Justin, Jimmy, Jerry, James, and Travis Adair, Bobbie Ann White,
  and Evalyn Bea Magee; to his five great-grandchildren and numerous
  nieces and nephews; and to his other relatives and many friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jimmy
  Adair.
