R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Delbert and Pearl Fahrner of Hewitt |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 4, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Delbert Fahrner and the former Pearl Eloise Preston |
|
|
met at their job in Ashland, Virginia, and they were joined in |
|
|
matrimony in 1963; through the years, they have nurtured a |
|
|
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the |
|
|
addition of three children, Patricia and her husband, Nicholas, |
|
|
Delbert and his sweetheart, Cindy, and Randy and his wife, Rachel, |
|
|
as well as nine grandchildren, D. J., Sherianne, Nicholas, Haleigh, |
|
|
Ireland, Joshua, Clayton, Madison, and Zaylie; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Rep |
|
|
resentatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Delbert and Pearl Fahrner on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fahrner as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
