R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Sarah Michelle Hardy of American Heritage Girls
  Troop No. 1136 in Parker County has attained the American Heritage
  Girls Stars and Stripes Award, the organization's highest
  commendation; and
         WHEREAS, In order to achieve this noteworthy distinction, Ms.
  Hardy successfully met a series of requirements emphasizing
  community service, personal and spiritual growth, positive values,
  and leadership skills that reflect AHG's mission to "build women of
  integrity through service to God, family, community, and country";
  and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Hugh and Darlene Hardy, this fine
  young Texan has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the ideals
  of the American Heritage Girls program, earning 16 badges and 4
  service stars as she pursued the Stars and Stripes Award; for her
  major project, she upgraded the nursery and outdoor facilities at a
  Fort Worth church; and
         WHEREAS, Sarah Hardy has proven herself to be an exemplary
  member of the American Heritage Girls and she may indeed reflect
  with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah Michelle Hardy on her receipt
  of the Stars and Stripes Award and extend to her sincere best wishes
  for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hardy as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
