R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Michelle Hardy of American Heritage Girls |
|
Troop No. 1136 in Parker County has attained the American Heritage |
|
Girls Stars and Stripes Award, the organization's highest |
|
commendation; and |
|
WHEREAS, In order to achieve this noteworthy distinction, Ms. |
|
Hardy successfully met a series of requirements emphasizing |
|
community service, personal and spiritual growth, positive values, |
|
and leadership skills that reflect AHG's mission to "build women of |
|
integrity through service to God, family, community, and country"; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Hugh and Darlene Hardy, this fine |
|
young Texan has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the ideals |
|
of the American Heritage Girls program, earning 16 badges and 4 |
|
service stars as she pursued the Stars and Stripes Award; for her |
|
major project, she upgraded the nursery and outdoor facilities at a |
|
Fort Worth church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Hardy has proven herself to be an exemplary |
|
member of the American Heritage Girls and she may indeed reflect |
|
with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah Michelle Hardy on her receipt |
|
of the Stars and Stripes Award and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Hardy as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
