R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Charles and Hoycille Valentine of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on January 26, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Charles Valentine and the former Hoycille |
|
|
Montgomery exchanged the vows of matrimony in Kermit on that |
|
|
memorable day in 1963, and over the course of their marriage, they |
|
|
have found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Valentine count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two daughters and their husbands, Sharli |
|
|
and Nathan Crawford and Shyll and Edward Boulen, as well as six |
|
|
grandchildren and a great-grandchild, with whom they treasure |
|
|
sharing the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Charles and |
|
|
Hoycille Valentine can savor a wealth of cherished family memories |
|
|
and know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Hoycille Valentine on |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Valentine as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
