R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A caring and productive life tragically ended on
  June 18, 2011, with the death of Geraldine Pulejo of Richardson at
  the age of 62; and
         WHEREAS, Born to Cesidio and Cesidia Cence on October 2,
  1948, in San Donato Val di Comino, Italy, the former Geraldine Cence
  left her native Italy to pursue a life in the United States and
  settled in Richardson; and
         WHEREAS, Along the way, she met and married the love of her
  life, Salvatore Pulejo, and the couple shared 45 years together;
  Mrs. Pulejo dedicated her life to her loved ones, and her family
  eventually grew to include three children and six grandchildren;
  and
         WHEREAS, With a network of relatives that extended from Texas
  to Sicily, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and
  Connecticut, Mrs. Pulejo was treasured by many; her affability and
  warmth earned her many friends wherever she went, and she was always
  committed to helping others in any way possible; and
         WHEREAS, Geraldine Pulejo possessed a generosity of spirit
  that expressed itself in myriad ways, and countless lives were
  forever enriched by her warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Geraldine Pulejo
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Salvatore Pulejo; to her children, Joseph Pulejo and his
  wife, Catrina, Anna Maria Allen and her husband, Charles, and Gino
  Pulejo and his wife, Kathryn; to her six grandchildren, Joshua,
  Zackary, Kara, and Vincent Pulejo, and Katelyn and Tyler Allen; to
  her siblings, Domenica Antonellis and her husband, Pompeo,
  Antonietta Marini and her husband, Loreto, Antonio Cence and his
  wife, Cecilia, and Valerio Cence and his wife, Marcella; and to her
  many other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Geraldine
  Pulejo.
