R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Berta Vogler of Lamesa celebrated her 90th birthday |
|
|
in February 2013, and a host of her friends and admirers gathered to |
|
|
extend to her their congratulations and best wishes; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born in 1923, Ms. Vogler has seen her own story play |
|
|
out against the backdrop of an eventful period in history; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A source of wisdom and inspiration, Ms. Vogler has |
|
|
greatly enriched the lives of those around her, and she has in turn |
|
|
been blessed with many wonderful memories; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Berta Vogler holds a special place in the hearts of |
|
|
her loved ones, and she may indeed reflect with satisfaction on nine |
|
|
decades of life well lived; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Berta Vogler on her 90th birthday |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Vogler as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
