R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Robinson FFA members Haley Herzog and Hayden |
|
|
Schroder received grand champion honors at the McLennan County |
|
|
Junior Livestock Show and Youth Fair on February 5-8, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Herzog won first place in class and an overall |
|
|
grand champion title for her 1,314-pound market steer, which was |
|
|
the first of more than 200 animals auctioned; Mr. Schroder's |
|
|
85-pound market goat came in first in the medium weight division and |
|
|
was named an overall grand champion; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through hard work and initiative, these young Texans |
|
|
have won the respect of their competitors and classmates, and the |
|
|
confidence, skills, and experience they have gained through the FFA |
|
|
program will be of great benefit to them in their future endeavors; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Haley Herzog and Hayden Schroder on |
|
|
winning grand champion honors at the McLennan County Junior |
|
|
Livestock Show and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Herzog and Mr. Schroder as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
