R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned nearly |
|
|
seven decades, Nelson and Ruby Frances Warren Spitzer celebrated |
|
|
their 69th wedding anniversary on February 18, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nelson Spitzer and the former Ruby Frances Warren |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Waco on that memorable day in |
|
|
1944, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each |
|
|
other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer are members of Western Heights |
|
|
Baptist Church; they count among their blessings a fine family that |
|
|
includes a daughter and her husband, Sherry and Ed Pitts, and a |
|
|
grandson and his partner, Dustin Pitts and Sandra Kampa, with whom |
|
|
they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 69 years, Ruby and Nelson |
|
|
Spitzer can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know |
|
|
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many |
|
|
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ruby and Nelson Spitzer on their |
|
|
69th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
